Agrotechnics Laboratory
Objectives

Establishing culture technologies (planting distances, crown form, prunning) for apricot, peach, nectarine, apple and cherry species;
Study of new created varieties of apricot, peach and nectarine in pilot plots (production potential, quality parameters) as well as of the behavior of new apple and cherry varieties in Bucharest area.


Equipment

technical balance to weigh fruit samples;
stove for drying soil samples in order to determine soil humidity;
instruments for biometrical determinations;
computer to process data;
table-laboratory for measurements and determinations in laboratory conditions;
 


Results

set up pilot plantations of peach, nectarine and apricot varieties;
apply culture technologies;
monitor and process monthly climatic conditions within the area (temperature and precipitations);
